The
TMBC system uses
a half step with shaping
control, thanks to this it has all the avantages
of the half-step control
without having its disadvantages.
The most greater advantages of the half-step
control is a higher resolution, twice as much
as the resolution in full-step, and the lack
of zones of mechanical resonance: with the
control to whole full-step, in fact, there
are some ranges of frequency of step in which
the motor is not able to disburse some torque
couple (see the figure on the right) and,
therefore, it becomes unusable. Instead, this
problem disappears using a half-step control.
Generally, the compromise that needs to accept
choosing the to half-step control is a reduction
of the torque couple supplied by the motori
(see the picture on the left): thanks to the
Half Step with Shaping control,
the TMBC does not need this
kind of reduction.
TMBC is able to furnish the
same torque couple such as the one of the
full-step control with double precision and
without the problem of mechanical resonance.
