GPS Antenna
ELAFL1-L2 is a robust antenna designed for receiving signals in the L1 band (1572.42 MHz) and L2 band (1227.60 MHz) transmitted by the GPS satellite system. It has been specifically engineered to operate in areas with strong electromagnetic and radiofrequency interference.
The antenna was developed for predominantly stationary use in conditions where mechanical strength is a key requirement for the overall system’s operability. Its shape and fully waterproof construction make it a reliable solution even in extreme weather conditions.
Careful selection of materials (aluminum and stainless steel) and attention to construction details have ensured a level of quality of absolute excellence, with an almost zero failure rate.
The mounting system allows the antenna to be easily and quickly fixed to bracketed poles, either vertically or horizontally. The antenna can be paired with any GPS receiver or module capable of providing a power supply between 3 and 5 volts, with minimal variations in gain in the low-noise amplification section.
Optionally supplied, the ELSE250 is a device placed between the antenna and the receiver that increases system protection against electrical transients induced by nearby lightning strikes.
