High Gain Active Tri-Band Antenna
The IPAF125 is a high-performance antenna for receiving signals in the L1 (1572.42 MHz), L2 (1227.60 MHz), and L5 (1176.50 MHz) bands transmitted by the GPS/Galileo/Glonass/Beidou/QZSS/IRNSS/SBAS satellite systems.
Specifically designed to operate in areas with strong electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference, this antenna also represents a high-quality solution for GPS/Galileo/Glonass/Beidou/QZSS/IRNSS/SBAS navigation systems on board vessels. This antenna was developed with a predominantly stationary use in mind, for conditions where mechanical robustness is a decisive factor in the operability of the entire system.
Its shape and fully waterproof construction make it a reliable benchmark in extreme weather conditions. The radome dome completely covers the antenna, with a profile that prevents the accumulation of snow or water infiltration inside the support pole. The careful selection of materials (aluminium and stainless steel) and constructive details have made it possible to achieve a standard of absolute excellence, with a practically zero rate of failure returns. The mounting system allows the antenna to be fixed quickly and easily onto bracketed poles, either vertically or horizontally. The antenna can be paired with any GPS/Galileo/Glonass/Beidou/QZSS/IRNSS/SBAS receiver or module capable of supplying a voltage between 3 and 5 volts, with minimal gain variation in the low-noise amplification section.
Electrical discharge protection is available as an option. The ELSE250 is a device that, installed in line between the antenna and the receiver, enhances the system's protection against electrical transients induced by nearby lightning strikes.
